Stinchar Valley Walks

There are plenty of walks in the area - both along the river banks and in the surrounding hills. The Stinchar Valley Trails are well signposted as are the shorter walks.

For a tremendous panoramic view of the whole valley and the surrounding hills, as well as of Ailsa Craig, Arran, the Mull of Kintyre, and on a clear day Ireland - try the short, fairly steep, walk to the top of Knockdolian hill.

Take special care to follow the Country Code, do not disturb grazing animals, wildlife, game or growing crops, keep dogs under strict control, shut any gates you have to open, light no fires and leave no litter behind you.
